Our French Green Clay (also known as illite clay or sea clay) is your go-to for particularly oily, congested or acne prone complexions. Native to France, the mineral content of our masks is a fantastic combination of magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc, silicon, selenium, iron, copper, and cobalt. French Green Clay is absorbent, treating your skin by gently extracting impurities and toxins, leaving your skin toned, smooth, and fresh.

Our clays are Pure, but can be made Essential, and are a great natural alternative to products that contain harsh chemicals and synthetic ingredients. Simply add one or two drops of essential oil to your mixed mask to personalise your mask.

We recommend following with one our Pure or Essential moisturisers, such as one of our natural face oils which best suits your skin.

To use your Face Mask simply mix a heaped tablespoon of your clay with a clear water of your choice, gently combining to make a thin paste before applying to the skin for 15 minutes. Consider mixing with spring or floral water, as some hard waters contain unknown minerals. Finally, clean your mask off with a warm, wet cotton facecloth. For best results, try our crocheted cotton facecloths, which gently exfoliate your skin as they remove the mask.
